    What did he do?
    Alledgedly, Hopper caused a small traffic accident in Taos, New Mexico. He fled from the scene and neglected to inform Police.

    When?
    July 2, 1975

    Charged?
    Yes, with careless driving, caused an accident and didn't inform it, ran away from the accident scene, hiding from the police. He was bailed out 20 minutes after his arrest.

    Sentence?
    $250 fine.
